Christmas CRACKers
Please note I am not held responsible or legally liable for any addiction that is formed from making these crackers. I won’t even tell you how good they are so it can’t be used against me when you end up in rehab for a cracker addiction. I’m just going to leave the recipes here for you to do with what you will.
Notes:
- The Ranch is the OG here. It ain’t broke.
- The Chili is a nice change of pace if you’re looking for a little more spice.
Ingredients
Christmas Ranch Crackers
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 1, 1oz packet of Ranch dry mix
- ½ tsp dill
- ¼ tsp lemon pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 5 cups Oyster crackers
Cowboy Crackers
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 1 packet of McCormick Chili mix
- as much or as little cayenne as you want
- 5 cups Oyster crackers
Equipment
- small bowl
- large bowl
- parchment lined baking sheet
- spoon or fork
Directions
- The process for these two recipes is the same.
- Set your oven to 250 degrees and put your crackers in the large bowl.
- In the small bowl, mix your oil and all dry ingredients. Once well incorporated, pour over your crackers and toss to coat evenly.
- Pour onto your parchment lined baking sheet and spread out evenly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, then toss, then bake for about 5-8 more minutes. You’ll see that much of the oil has been cooked off when they are done.
- Cool and serve. Or just keep them for yourself.
